Barry and I are have been huge fans of Boyz ll Men from day one! I've seen them 3 times and Barry's seen them 4. They are just so good live, they never fail to give a good show! This time around, the concert was in Wendover, and they had backstages passes for only $30! So, I bought one and got to meet them after the show. The rose I'm holding was given to me by Shawn (far right) during the concert! When I was 15, I saw them at the Salt Palace and they handed out roses to the girls, and I was in the 9th row, but still too far back to get one. I was so bugged! So, when Barry and I saw them at the Scera theater (15 years later), I was determined to get one, and make up for that disappointment! We sat in the 3rd row and the second I saw those roses in their hands, I was over the rows in front of me before anyone knew what happened! (Yes, I know how this makes me sound). And now, I have two of them :) It was so much fun!
We had 2nd row seats so we got to interact with them a lot during the show. They reached out and grabbed my hand several times and I even got to sing a verse from one of their songs into their microphone! It's amazing how you can turn into such a giddy school girl when you're around a group that you've loved since jr. high!!
Yes, I'm a crazy fan! Laugh all you want, but I LOVE my Boyz ll Men :))
