Who Says Love is Perfect?

Barry and I were married on May 12, 2000. It was one of the best decisions of my life, although I do wish they had presented a seminar at the end of that aisle! A little knowledge as to how hard it can be to live with someone, and create a life together. That vision of white castles, and happily ever after's becomes slightly blurred at times, and you just want to hault your Disney princess video collection right out the window.... but then, beyond the occasional rubble, you hear a tiny laugh, come home to a bouquet of flowers and a clean house, unfold a painting of a happy family made with tiny hands, walk with your heart heavy to those kindergarten doors, receive a kiss after a long day, or maybe just sit back and watch the family that you have created, and feel truly blessed. Love isn't always perfect, but it sure is worth it!
